The Gergasi Football Club was launched as an effort towards football development and excellence in the country. The launching ceremony was held at the FABD House in Berakas, 1st May 2025.

The club was officiated by Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang, Chairman of Yakin Football League. 30 players were selected for training under Haji Rosanan bin Haji Samak, the national football legend. The Gergasi Football Club is also participating in the Invitational Football League tournament to compete for the Lela Cheteria Cup which began on the 2nd of May 2025.
